WKU Talisman

Overview

A collection of layouts and covers that I have created for the WKU Talisman magazine. From Aug. 2023 – May 2024, I was a designer and created layouts for Issues 15: Dimension and 16: Pulse. I became the Design Editor from May 2024 – May 2025, where I oversaw the design for Issues 17: Legacy, and 18: Connection, as well as Zine .05 and Zine .06. While Design Editor, I also redesigned the magazine’s style guide, implementing a grid system and adding changes to improve readability.

In 2025, the magazine won ACP Magazine Pacemaker, the Best of Show Feature Magazine for Issue 18: Connection, and was a finalist for the Multiplatform Pacemaker. Additionally, the horoscope illustrations I illustrated for Issue 18 were an honorable mention for Illustration of the Year.
